Portable Earthing Equipment

We offer a comprehensive range of portable earthing for substations, distribution & transmission networks.

Our portable earthing leads are available in both 50mm² orange Aluflex cable for Field Earths (aka Tower Earths, Vehicle Earths, Plant Earth Leads, and Orange Field Earths) and 150mm² clear Aluflex cable for Primary Earths (aka Circuit Main Earths). While standard lengths of 10m and 20m are held in stock, we can supply leads to any length to meet your specific requirements.

All portable earthing leads are supplied complete with Line End Clamps and Earth End Clamps and are fully tested to National Grid standards. Each lead is also issued with a unique identification number, providing complete traceability throughout its service life.

Thanks to our extensive stockholding, many standard leads are available for next-day delivery, helping us to respond quickly to planned maintenance work and emergency situations.

For added value, every new portable earth lead supplied by Alcomet includes a FREE 12-month service. This helps maximise the lifespan of your portable earthing equipment while providing a cost-effective alternative to premature replacement.
