Are you making the most of your CITB levy?

Are you making the most of your CITB levy? Alcomet

Within the construction industry, employers must provide their workers with the appropriate training to support on-site safety. As part of this, the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) offers a Skills and Training Fund that helps cover the cost of accredited courses meeting certain standards across a range of categories.

If you’re an employer registered with CITB, you can apply for funding for training once per year.

The CITB levy is something all employers “engaged wholly or mainly in construction industry activities” pay annually, so it makes sense to make the most of it.

Making the most of your CITB levy

Many employers are unaware that they may already be entitled to significant funding support.

The good news is that our partners, Pragmatic Consulting Ltd, are an approved CITB training organisation.

This means CITB levy-registered companies can often book training through CITB Employer Networks and typically pay only 50% of the course cost.

Importantly, this funding is not limited to a small selection of courses — it can apply across the full range of CITB training programmes available through Pragmatic.
