Alcomet is delighted to announce that James Weavin and Lee Powis have joined the Board as Directors of the Business.
Following the Management Buyout in 2022, Chris Beasley, Owner and Managing Director, looked to create a Board structure that would support the growth of the business. He has therefore appointed Lee as Sales Director and James as Operations Director, respectively.
Chris commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Lee and James to the Board. Their experience will be vital in supporting me as we grow the Alcomet brand. There are many opportunities for us to further support our customers, so I needed a team around me to help continue our great work.”
Lee joined Alcomet in 2017 and has a solid background in Sales and Account Management spanning over 14 years. He has effectively and successfully managed numerous major accounts during his time at Alcomet, demonstrating exceptional dedication and proficiency in meeting client needs and exceeding their expectations.
James began at Alcomet in 2020 following an extensive Marketing background with companies such as IPU Group, Contigo Software Limited, and the British Retail Consortium. While at Alcomet, he has overhauled the marketing efforts whilst also taking on Operational responsibility for the business.
