Copperbond Earth Rod

Made by molecularly bonding 99.9% pure electrolytic copper onto a low carbon steel core. Highly resistant to corrosion and because the steel used has a very high tensile strength, they can be driven by power hammers to great depths.

Copperbond Earth Rods are steel rods coated with a thick layer of electrolytic copper. This copper layer is molecularly bonded to the steel core, creating a robust and corrosion-resistant product. The combination of steel and copper offers excellent electrical conductivity and mechanical strength, making these rods ideal for grounding systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Suitable fittings also available.

We also offer Solid Copper Rods

Standards

  • BS EN 50164-2 (solid copper rods)
  • BS 7430
  • UL467 (RC010-KIT, RC015-KIT, RS005-KIT)

Key Features and Benefits of Copperbond Earth Rod
